Job description

What is the Marketing Manager’s role?

  • Establish positioning, identify target audiences and develop measurable marketing plans with specific objectives across different channels and segments.
  • Day to day management and improvement of all social channels including development of an engaging content strategy, and all paid/owned/earned campaigns.
  • Create, maintain and conduct analytics reporting across multiple platforms and extract key insights for future campaigns.
  • Evaluating marketing campaigns and activity to increase efficiency of marketing activities within the company.
  • Website co-ordination, improvements and liaison with Head of Creative.
  • PR agency co-ordination (and fielding/directing press enquiries).
  • Event co-ordination and materials.
  • Newsletter co-ordination.
  • Press release drafting.
  • All brand promotional activities relating to Joro.

Required skills & competencies

  • Proven success in developing and supporting marketing plans and campaigns.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management, multi-tasking and decision-making skills.
  • Metrics driven marketing with an eye for creativity.
  • Experience with marketing automation in all platforms.
  • Ability to co-ordinate and host regular review meetings with SMT.

Preferred skills & experience required

  • At least 5 years in a marketing role, involved with and/or managing the above.
  • Premium brand experience, understanding of HNWI audiences and their buying dynamics, preferably in the premium travel sector.
  • Experience of working in a small, fast-moving team.
  • Experience in working with a creative team, familiarity with graphic design principles and tools and briefing templates.
  • Computer literate - experience using Google Suite.

Position details

  • Hybrid office/home-office position
  • Reporting initially to Brand Director
  • Looking to fill this position soonest
