Happening seemingly out of nowhere, altering us irreversibly. The phrase “sea change” was first recorded in Shakespeare’s The Tempest. On one hand, it refers to the dramatic changes which can happen to conditions at sea. On another, it speaks to the powerful shifts that happen to us when travelling. We set out one person; return another.
As we voyage past the quarterway-point of the 21st century, change has been top of the itinerary for us. We’ve refreshed our brand identity, launched a new website, welcomed members into the team, made new partnerships (more on that later), relaunched our newsletter, and ended 2024 by winning the Change-Maker Pure Award for the Conscious Travel Foundation.
As part of our rebrand, we redefined our purpose and positioning – essentially, what we do, how we do it differently, and how we can hone in on it even further for our clients.
What we have established is this: our focus is on rare experiences. The kinds of journeys which reach beyond the limits of luxury and step into the realm of the ineffable. This could mean taking part in ancient rituals with remote tribes, or witnessing a pod of humpback whales breaching the surface off the Antarctic peninsula. But it could also mean solo travelling through the foothills of the Himalayas, or seeing in a milestone birthday with family on a private island. The uniting factor is a feeling of magic and alchemy; stars aligning and things falling into place.
These are the journeys we specialise in; the kinds of experiences which have the power to trigger a sea change within us. Opening us to new pathways, potential, possibilities. Changing the course of our lives irreversibly.
Is one on the cards this year?

Travel is an exercise in the imagination: an act of welcoming in, allowing the event to shape us, and watching the possibilities unfold.
Our new partnership with Burgess is much the same. Renowned for their expertise in yachts, it’s a collaboration which will allow us to push the boundaries of our offering. Unlocking access to the world’s biggest and best-quality fleet of superyachts. Expanding the reach of where we can take our clients, geographically and otherwise.
We’re proud to have Burgess by our side, and excited to see where our partnership will go.
Crater expeditions, fjord phenomena, a solar eclipse – every experience we curate offers the extraordinary. Here’s a window into what we’re working on right now.

Bosavi Crater is one of the most remote regions on the Earth. Formed by an ancient volcanic eruption, it’s a sanctuary for species which exist nowhere else, including 16 types of frogs, three types of fish, and spiders, a bat, and a giant rat. The last expedition there was by the BBC over 10 years ago.
An expedition to Bosavi will begin with a helicopter ride to the crater, followed by an opportunity to venture inside and explore the ecosystem, before staying overnight on the crater rim. Guests will be joined by biologists and entomologists, and welcomed to participate in rituals with the Kosua tribe. And, if you discover any new species, you get to name them.

Imagine being anchored in the middle of the Northeast Greenland National Park as a shadow slowly casts over the icebergs, glaciers and peaks, before the area is shrouded in total darkness.
Then imagine the moments afterwards, as light and life slowly returns. The phrase “once-in-a-lifetime experience” gets thrown around a lot – but here, we really mean it. The Kong Oskar Fjord will be one of the most extraordinary places to witness next year’s total solar eclipse. It’s also a great place for kayaking among icebergs, fishing for Arctic char, trekking glaciers and experiencing Inuit culture.

The wild and pristine islands and coastline of Arctic Norway are home to some of Europe’s most stirring landscapes, where steep-sided fjords cut gashes into a jagged coastline populated by fascinating wildlife and pretty wooden fishing villages.
Your journey begins in the Lofoten Archipelago and sees your cruise through and above the fjords and islands of Northern Norway all the way to Alta in the High Arctic. Along the way, you will spend time hiking, kayaking, surfing, fishing, visiting the northernmost point of Continental Europe and in the company of wildlife guardians, foragers and growers, artists and collectors.
