“This safari was all about being open minded to the unexpected joys of life and appreciating a culture that is very distinct from ones’ own.”
Tony – Kenya
The brief to Joro was to show us something really different. As six well-travelled adults, it can be difficult to find new adventures and they exceeded all expectations. We found ourselves camel trekking with the Samburu in Northern Kenya.
By day we were walking across diverse terrain and by night we relaxed and enjoyed the silence under a billion stars. With a well organised and highly amusing staff, combined with a train of camels who carry all equipment and food, this trek through one of the last true wildernesses with a tribe that has lived in these semi-arid lands for millennia, is something we will never forget.
